| Backwoods Bag This bag is based on primitive haversacks that early frontiermen might have carried, but the fact that I dyed it black from its original green colour makes it not quite historical. There are slight hints of green here and there in direct sunlight. Body of bag is made of sheepskin, fully lined with black Irish linen. I used the natural edge of the leather for the gnarly flap which I followed with a primitive running stich and frayed the edges of the linen. Strap is cowhide and is not adjustable.
